Registration

Online Registration for the 19th Annual Canadian Conference on HIV/AIDS Research is now closed.

As of this time no registration will be processed over the phone nor a waiting list started for any sold out sessions. Any new registrations will be processed on-site at TCU Place located at 35 22nd Street East, Saskatoon, SK.

The registration desk is located in the Main Lobby of TCU Place. The onsite registration hours are as follows:

Thursday, May 13 7:00 am to 7:30 pm
Friday, May 14 7:00 am to 6 pm
Saturday, May 15 8:30 am to 5 pm
Sunday, May 16 8:30 am to 1 pm

Online registration will allow you the opportunity to make changes and additions to your registration as necessary until Monday, May 3, 2010. The online registration site also will contain the most current information at all times.

The registration fee is determined when payment is received, and not the date of submission. There are no daily attendance fees for any of the categories.

Registration fees include all Scientific Sessions, Industry-sponsored Symposia, Welcome Reception, Poster Sessions and access to the Exhibit Area.  All fees are in Canadian dollars.

Registration fees do not include attendance at the Friday Night Gala Party nor CME Credits or attendance at the New HIV Researcher Workshop. Please purchase tickets for the Gala Party, CME Credits and/or attendance at the New HIV Researcher Workshop during the online registration process.

Student and CAHR New Researcher Registration Qualifications and Requirements:

Student, Fellow and Trainee Rates: Proof of student status or proof of trainee/fellowship status is required to confirm this rate. Proof consists of a copy of the student's ID or a letter from the institution's registrar verifying student, fellowship, or trainee status.

To confirm the CAHR New Researcher rate, one must be a recent graduate (within the past 5 years) and either (a) be registered for the 2010 CAHR New Researcher Workshop or (b) have attended the Workshop in 2008 or 2009.

CME Credits

This program meets the accreditation criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been accredited by the Saskatchewan Chapter for 17 Mainpro-M1 credits.

If you wish to receive CME credits ensure you select CME Credits box when you are registering. If you have already registered and would like to add CME Credits, you may do so by logging back into your account (located on the right hand side at the top of the page) and selecting the CME Credits box.

The cost for CME Credits is $25.

Payment, Confirmation and Receipt

The registration fee category is determined by when the payment is received, and is due in Canadian dollars. Those Pre-registrants who do not pay their registration fee until arrival onsite at the Conference will be charged the onsite registration fee. A confirmation email will be sent shortly after you register. If you submit payment by credit card a receipt will be included. If you wish to pay by cheque, money order or bank or wire transfer, an invoice will be sent to you via email. Once payment has been received a receipt will be sent.

All cheques, money orders or bank transfers are payable to CAHR 2010 c/o Sea to Sky Meeting Management Inc. and are due in Canadian Dollars and must be drawn on a Canadian Bank.

Bank transfers must be received prior to Friday, April 30, 2010 or payment via another method will be due onsite.  Please note CAHR 2010 Conference as a reference on the bank transfer with the name of the person registering stated on the bank transfer.  Please send the transfer to:

Conference Registration Cancellations, Refunds and Substitution Policy

Cancellation with a refund for Conference registration and/or Friday Night Gala Party attendance will be accepted in writing up to Friday, March 26, 2010 and will be subject to an administration fee of $100 which will be deducted from the refund amount.

After Friday, March 26, 2010 there will be no refunds for cancelled registration or "no shows" (failure to attend) for the Conference or the Friday Night Gala Party. This includes persons who register and pay in full, but do not attend the Conference. Substitutions are permitted until Monday, May 3, 2010.  All cancellations or substitutions must be submitted in writing to Sea to Sky Meeting Management at register@cahr2010.ca.

Registrations for either the Conference and/or the Friday Night Gala Party must be paid in full by Friday, April 30, 2010. After that date, registrations for either the Conference or the Gala Party that have not been paid in full will be cancelled. Registrations made after that date will only be accepted if paid in full at time of registration.

The Conference reserves the right to close registration as the Conference has a limited capacity. The Conference will provide as much advance notice as possible on closure of registration. Persons who are planning to register as participants at the Conference should take this into account.

Presenting Author Registration Information

Presenting Authors must register to attend the CAHR 2010 Conference. If you are not registered by the Presenting Author registration deadline your abstract may not be included in the final program.

Take advantage of early bird conference rates by visiting the Registration section of the CAHR 2010 Website. The Presenting Author registration deadline is Wednesday, March 24, 2010.

Wheelchair Access and Special Assistance
All Conference venues are wheelchair accessible. If you require special assistance for any reason, please include your requirements during the registration process and confirm any details with the Conference Secretariat.

Dietary Requests
Please identify any dietary requirements during the registration process so that we can make arrangements in advance for your registered food and beverage events.
